Members of Norpac Santas ~
This past week has been full of ups and downs especially where it concerns COVID-19. With the recent changes in gathering sizes by our local officials, it has become necessary to cancel our annual picnic. We want you to know this was not an easy decision to make, but one that we have thought hard on while trying to protect all of our members.
We care about each and every one of you and want to see us all through this global pandemic. We will meet again, just we are not sure as of yet when.
Current guidelines for Pierce County restrict outdoor gatherings to under 10 people, with historically we have had 30-35 in attendance, this will present a problem.A point was brought up by a board member that is we as NORPAC decided to proceed with the picnic and someone (or more than one) becomes ill and it gets publicized that it was a group of Santas from Norpac that disregarded the guidelines, this will reflect very badly on our organization and the reputation that has been so carefully built over the years. This could have a major impact on our clients views of us and those willing to go to Norpac to find a Santa for their holiday events.
