My title of Santa George may be a new jingle to my ears, but working with children is an old song I am very familiar with. I have coached various athletic teams, played an active role with United Way, hosted fishing derbies and field trips for children and have always felt connected with the little people of the world. I was born and raised on Vancouver Island, where my wife and I have raised our two beautiful children and recently been promoted to Grandparents! The joy of becoming a Grandpa made me realize that I have the opportunity to create a similar joy for people not just during that magical time of year. Long before officially wearing the Red Suit, I had experienced that glance of wonder that kids give me when they see the big white beard, and jolly ole belly (you can thank my love of cookies for that). 2018 was my first official year as playing Santa, and it was a busy, magical season for me. I was involved with school events, charity events, private events and corporate events and loved every moment of it. It is not only the children that feel the Spirit of Christmas, but all ages, and putting this Red Suit on, is one of the most magical and rewarding things I have done.

Santa Tony is the real Santa. He knows this because youngsters from one to ninety-nine have told him so. Though a fairly new Santa, I have had the spirit of Santa in me my whole life. I love children of all ages and absolutely love bringing Love, Hope and Joy into the lives of children of all ages. This Santa thing is a real blessing from God and I want to share that blessing with as many children of all ages that I can. My only regret about being Santa is that I didn’t start much sooner. Mrs. Claus attends events with Santa if you need both of us let us know. Santa Tony is at a local business called Gifted and a coffee shop called The Station. He has been Santa for Showcase Events in Denver, Colorado, (Colorado Country Christmas Gift Show), Salt Lake City, Utah, (Salt Lake’s Family Christmas Gift Show) and have the pleasure of working at the Tacoma Dome, (Tacoma Holiday Food & Gift Festival) this year. Santa Tony does visits at Children’s Hospital in Seattle and will do my best to continue to do so on a yearly basis. He does Forgotten Children of Lewis County and a local event for foster children. He has done home visits and corporate events. Santa Tony is a member of the Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas, (IBRBS), Norpac Santas, Nationwide Santas, Christian Santas, Clausnet and the Santa Claus Conservatory. He is background checked. In a perfect world, your job falls to you naturally. For 31 years, I was a Seattle mailman and every Christmas I WAS THE MAN DELIVERING JOY & PRESENTS TO ALL OF MY PATRONS. The suit was a hat, red pants, jacket, and a string of bell proceeding a bearded, jolly, giant St, Nick, with a pouch full of presents. Since then, I've done a few parties and was very entertaining the last Christmas seasons as a sometimes singing Santa Claus at the downtown Macy's, Westwood Village Mall, and Redmond Town Center. I have been a resident of Washington State for close to fifty years and am now retired after forty years as a Mental Health-Chemical Dependency Professional. A couple years back my wife volunteered me to be Santa at a church Christmas party. I bought a theatrical beard, borrowed a suit and had a blast. A few months later Covid hit, the world shut down and I stopped shaving. When the beard came in grey my wife said “Hi Santa” to me one morning and not only was it a challenge, well, it just seemed to fit. When Christmas 2020 rolled around and the world was still isolated and Santa visits were masked behind plexiglass, I decided that kids needed something more. I have been Santa Claus since 1995. It started when a 4-year-old (son of friends I was visiting in LA) called me Santa Claus and would not back off. I have been Santa Claus ever since. People tell me I have been blessed with caring eyes, a happy smile, and a contagious “Ho, Ho, Ho”. I have a full, naturally white Santa Claus beard, full belly. and loving heart. I have been through 3 Santa Schools. My goal is to bring smiles and joy to children and get theirs in return. To keep them believing in me and the great joy I bring. To help keep them off the “naughty” list and to stay on the “nice” list in hopes of fulfilling their dreams under the tree on Christmas morning and every day thereafter. In 1979 I was stationed at Rhein-Main Air Base in Germany as a Department of Defense Civilian employee. Most of my work involved helping the military repair aircraft throughout Europe. All military personnel and their families arrived at this airbase to begin their European tour. The Rhein-Main AB terminal was open 24/7. I inquired about what the Airforce did for the children who arrived on Christmas day. I was told “nothing”, so I purchased my first Santa Suit with a fake beard and met the aircraft on the ramp dressed as Santa and then went up the ramp to give each child some candy and a gift. I did this for seven years. My job required me to travel and live in many places throughout the Europe and the U.S. By the time I returned to the U.S. I had a natural beard. I have been a Santa at Rhien Main AB Germany, Plattsburgh NY, Sacramento CA, Clovis NM, and Poulsbo WA. I have been featured in many newspaper articles throughout the U.S. I have over 30 years’ experience as a Natural Santa. I have been the Santa for the Port Gamble S’Klallam tribe for the past ten years. I provide all my services Pro bono for schools, non-profits, and church groups. I have also worked at malls and other locations for pay.

It has been said that: “you don’t choose the red suit, it chooses you”; for me that was true. Public speaking and stage presence were inculcated in me at an early age, modeling myself after my late father, a very gifted teacher and speaker. As a child in kindergarten, I was drawn towards the stage and every play that came along found me in it, usually in a lead role. In my teens, singing and voice lessons and choirs – so many choirs. Began college at age fifteen and was part of an internationally acclaimed jazz choir. Sharing the 1980 Concord Jazz Festival stage with greats like Seattle’s own Ernestine Anderson, Ray Brown, Bud Shank, Shelly Mann, Laurindo Almeida, and George Shearing. In my thirties was host of a nationally syndicated radio program, radio commercial voiceover, and narrated audio books. Then Santa happened in my late fifties at the first Covid Christmas and I realized... I digress, that’s a different story.
Santa must have the voice. Of course, there will be wonderful vocal differences between Santas, but to be convincing it must be the voice of Santa. Then there is the look. My dear wife of thirty-eight years always described my mother as “Mrs. Santa Claus” - with complete accuracy. As genetics would have it, I am my mother’s son and, well, enough said.
Elf before self. Our true passion, however, is the children who can’t get to the mall. Who may never be invited to a holiday event. To this end, we are volunteers for SANTA AMERICA. (www.santaamerica.org) September 2022, we attended a Symposium in Overland Park, KS with like-minded Brother’s of the Beard. It was enlightening but emotionally demanding, and yes, there are times it’s okay for Santa to cry. Currently we are engaged in implementing SUBS – Socks, underwear and belts- for children in need. Also looking to find group homes through foster services with whom we can share the Love, Hope and Joy of the season.

Santa Bob Partlow has been spreading Christmas joy and cheer across the country and even the world for nine years. From his North Pole workshop and his second home in Olympia, Washington, he has visited children of all ages from three days to 93 years, from day cares to senior citizen homes. Sometimes joined by Mrs. Claus, he has appeared at corporate parties, home visits, restaurants, an antique car museum, holiday bazaars and festivals, tree lightings, gender reveal parties, malls and community gatherings. I started portraying Santa in 2013 and was trained and suited by Naturally Santa of Colorado Springs. I portrayed Santa Claus in my 1957, Coka Cola Santa Suit, at the Outlet Collection, Seattle, in 2013, 2014 and 2015 with Worldwide Photos. The 2016 season was at Toys R Us, Tacoma and The Polar Express in Elby, WA. Then in 2017, I went to Santa University for Cherryhill Programs and I was suited as the Noerr Santa at the Tacoma Mall (Simon Malls) for 2017, 2018 and 2019. To improve my presentation, I continued my Santa education with Naturally Santa. I joined NORPAC Santa’s and IBRBS, the International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santa’s to better my performance. I will do Home Photos for families; for Professional Photographers; and, meet and greet and story readings for small groups and apartment committees. I hope to do community events and hospital visits. Interested working within 50 miles of Lacey, WA. And beyond that, other arrangements may be made. 

Kirby Taylor loves portraying Mrs. Claus. She is available for home visits, corporate events, print/video work and more. She works independently or with Santa, Elves, etc. She may be booked with her guitar and lead carols, sing with an accompanist at piano or track at big events. Santa Gary serves the Greater Puget Sound area. He first joined Rudolf at the Reindeer Festival at the Cougar Mountain Zoo and has since delighted children and adults alike, working with professional photographers, attending private home events, business work parties, Golf & Country Club Annual Christmas parties and Breakfast/Brunch with Santa events, has been seen in restaurants, and has annual pictures with Santa at the local food bank. Santa Gary volunteers at events with our soldiers and their families at Fort Lewis, and was involved with a picture-taking event of families to send to the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. He reads the Christmas story and other appropriate children's Christmas books at events, and he visits rehabilitation, day care, and senior centers. Santa Gary has been active with the Forgotten Children program for the past 4 years. He has also been spotted at the Snoqualmie Railroad, attends fundraisers for mission trips and appears anywhere his sleigh can find a spot to land. Perhaps on your rooftop! A Real Bearded Santa for the past 6 years, my studio and I are available to photographers and videographers for Holiday mini-sessions. The only public appearances I make outside the studio are for children's charities and I don't charge for those events.Proof of insurance, the NORPAC background check and a local police check are available at the studio.

I love the joy and happiness that the Christmas season brings.  As a Real Bearded Santa I want to bring that joy to others by engaging with children and adults through one on one experiences and also group settings.   I have been a youth leader for many years and am now stepping into my Santa journey.   I am a member of Norpac Santas and have a background check.   I am available for corporate/client events, neighborhood/community events, schools, family gatherings, church activities, virtual visits (zoom) and more.   My wife, Mrs. Claus, has also had years of experience volunteering as a youth leader.
