The NORPAC group gathered at noon at Billy McHale’s Restaurant in Federal Way. Food was ordered and visiting took place as we enjoyed the meal.

Greetings Santa Trever welcomed everyone. The business portion of the meeting began at approx. 12:40 PM. A total of 48 people were present including Santas, Mrs. Clauses, an elf, a Grinch, and other friends of NORPAC.

Introductions First time visitors included Mrs. Claus Marianne Blake, Santa Dan Bartel, Santa Robin Zeller, Santa Roy Abbett and Michele Rogers, and the Weisser’s grandson Jonah. Welcome to all—we hope you’ll join us at future meetings!

Minutes from Previous Meetings Santa Dale pointed out that the minutes of the 7th Annual Northwest Santa Workshop (Nov. 3-5, 2016), and the minutes of the most recent Executive Committee meeting (Jan. 18, 2017) have both been available on the NORPAC website for several weeks.

Treasurer’s Report Santa Dennis Gorley shared his Treasurer’s Report .He said that NORPAC’s year-end treasury balance was $3,766.61. The 2016 Santa Workshop resulted in a net income of $326.89, the first time we’ve had a positive balance from the workshop. Dennis attributed this to the many gift baskets that were contributed and the generosity of those buying raffle tickets. The treasury balance as of Feb. 1, 2017 was $3,732.40 with $431.07 in Savings, $3,301.33 in Checking, and $50.00 in Petty Cash.
Dennis further reported that he has 50 tickets available for the Tacoma Rainiers Game on July 16 and that the cost for these is $15 each. Dennis has also completed the Washington State Dept. of Revenue filing for 2016, as well as IRS Form 990. Also, the NORPAC budget for 2017 has been approved by the Exec. Committee.
