Dennis Simpson called the meeting to order at 11:10 AM. Those attending included Randy Cook, Jerry Galland, Dennis Gorley, Ron Kearns, Gene Sanders, Dale Scott, Dennis Simpson, and Trever Waltos.
Workshop. Dennis S. shared the latest draft of the agenda/program for the 7th Annual Northwest Santa Workshop scheduled for Nov. 3-5, 2016, at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, WA. Several slight changes were discussed and agreed upon. We’ll also be adding a new agenda item on Friday evening called “Santa Olympics”
Dennis also shared that he’s accepted a position at “Santa Experience” in New York that will prevent his attendance at this year’s NORPAC conference. That necessitated others assuming some of the roles that Dennis usually fulfills. Trever and Ron will be “point” persons for conference decisions, questions, signatures, etc. Gene will be in the Hospitality Room this year and his contact number for that purpose will be 253-232-5627.
We’ve received permission from The Great Wolf Lodge to open Danny Vernon’s “Illusion of Elvis” show on Saturday afternoon to other hotel guests. A sign in the hallway will announce this.
Jerry, Dale, and Steve Collier agreed to bring their Santa chairs for use at the conference.
NORPAC Sleigh. Randy passed around paint chip samples and agreement was reached as to paint colors for the NORPAC sleigh that’s being worked on at Randy’s home.
Meeting ended at 12:15 PM. Ron gave the meal blessing, and we spent next hour enjoying a wonderful potluck picnic.
