Santa Dennis Simpson reported that the executive board members name tags have been change to green in order to identify them to the members.

There was a little show and tell by various Santas at this time.

The Tacoma Rainiers game is July 31 and we have 50 tickets. Santas were advised to get their tickets ASAP, no later than July 1, 2016. This is a family event.

Santa Bob Partlow reported on his contacts with the Mariners for a possible July 19, 2016 Rick Rizz Toys for Kids event. There will be an effort to meet with them for more information but it appears the details will be worked out.

There was a reminder that Discover Santa 2016 is occurring July 6-10, 2016 in Branson, MO and several NORPAC Santas will be attending.

The Great Wolf Lodge contract for the November, 2016, 7th Annual Northwest Santa Conference is complete. The dates are November 3,4,5, 2016 and the room rates are the same as last year ($154.00 / Family Room and $113.00 / King Suite).

      Old Business

2015 Toys for Tots did not happen due to complications and no final arrangements were completed. We are still interested in assisting at the Raniers games if something can be arranged.

      New Business

A question arose what corporate sponsors might be available for the 2016 conference. Possible sponsors suggested were Argosy, XL Wearhouse and Agencies (Gig Masters, Event Experience and others).
Santa Trever Waltos made a motion recommended by the executive board to add an additional “At Large” representative. Seconded by Santa Jerry Nebel. Motion passed unanimously.

Santa Randy Cook moved that we keep the current board members nominated and the additional “At Large” position. Santa Eddie Hayes seconded. Motion Passed unanimously.

The results are: Co-chair Trever Waltos
      Co-chair Dennis Simpson
      Secretary Dale Scott
      Treasurer Dennis Gorley
      At Large Gene Sanders
      At Large Jerry Galland
      At Large Randy Cook
      Past President Ron Kearns
      Group Sharing
Santa Trever pointed out that if you are able to fill a position from the NORPAC Request a Santa link please post that you accepted that job so others will know.

There was a discussion how frustrating it is for many Santas to receive requests 1 or 2 weeks or days before an event. Discussion continued how we can inform business and the public that the earlier requests are made the more likely they will be filled. As a group we will explore the ideas of Evening Magazine or New Day with Margaret Larson on KING 5 doing a story with that message: Plan Early.

There were stories from several santas.

If you have an event that could possibly use an elf or the Grinch, we have the contacts: Marty Horton and Alex Bennett.

50/50 Drawing Dennis Gorley said $202.00 had been collected. Marty Horton walked away with $101.00 in his pocket.

Meeting adjourned, followed by some group photos.

June 4 Panorama City, Lacey, WA
      August 6 Picnic TBD
