The Exec. Board met at 11:00 AM. Present were: Randy Cook, Jerry & Tracey Galland, Dennis Gorley, Ron & Marcie Kearns, Gene & Trish Sanders, Dale Scott, Dennis Simpson, and Trever Waltos.
Dennis S. shared a draft of the program for the upcoming 7th Annual Northwest Santa Workshop scheduled for Nov. 3-5, 2016, at the Great Wolf Lodge, Grand Mound, WA.
Topics discussed included:
Guest Speaker – Ron’s physician is an expert on weight loss and issues of diabetes. While she has agreed to present, Ron will coordinate with her regarding day and time.
Room Reservations – Dennis distributed information to the Exec. Board members with regard to their making room reservations for the conference, and encouraged us to make these reservations soon.
Panel Discussions – It was decided that two panel discussions would be organized, one on the topic of Mrs. Claus; another on the topic of Business Organization.
Entertainment – Dennis S. has been in conversation with Elvis impersonator Danny Vernon. Both Dennis and Ron have seen Danny perform and think he’d be excellent for our conference entertainment. We agreed that Dennis will try to book Danny for the fee of $500, and also agreed that we would open his performance to anyone at the Great Wolf Lodge who’d like to attend.
NORPAC Santas will be attending the Tacoma Rainiers baseball game on Sunday, July 31st. Tickets are available ($12.50 each) from Dennis Gorley.
Dennis S. reported that we’re about out of our NORPAC pens. It was agreed that he’d place an order for 500 of the same ballpoint pens we’ve ordered in the past.
Dennis S. also reported that we have six tickets reserved to attend Margaret Larson’s “New Day” show which airs daily on KING TV at 11:00 AM. He’s not sure what the format may be for our participation.
