In 1979 I was stationed at Rhein-Main Air Base in Germany as a Department of Defense Civilian employee. Most of my work involved helping the military repair aircraft throughout Europe. All military personnel and their families arrived at this airbase to begin their European tour. The Rhein-Main AB terminal was open 24/7. I inquired about what the Airforce did for the children who arrived on Christmas day. I was told “nothing”, so I purchased my first Santa Suit with a fake beard and met the aircraft on the ramp dressed as Santa and then went up the ramp to give each child some candy and a gift. I did this for seven years. My job required me to travel and live in many places throughout the Europe and the U.S. By the time I returned to the U.S. I had a natural beard. I have been a Santa at Rhien Main AB Germany, Plattsburgh NY, Sacramento CA, Clovis NM, and Poulsbo WA. I have been featured in many newspaper articles throughout the U.S. I have over 30 years’ experience as a Natural Santa. I have been the Santa for the Port Gamble S’Klallam tribe for the past ten years. I provide all my services Pro bono for schools, non-profits, and church groups. I have also worked at malls and other locations for pay.

Hi, I’m Santa Zed. I started off my career as a professional Santa Claus in 2021. I was recruited for a charity event when the previous Santa had to cancel. After that first event I was hooked and committed to my Santa career. After moving to the Seattle area, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to be the Santa for the Muckleshoot Casino assisting in their weekly promotions. This year I would like to expand to home visits and parties in the Seattle Tacoma area. I have attended seminars and training with FORBS and IBRBS as well as the New England Santa Society Santa Camp. I have been Santa Claus since 1995. It started when a 4-year-old (son of friends I was visiting in LA) called me Santa Claus and would not back off. I have been Santa Claus ever since. People tell me I have been blessed with caring eyes, a happy smile, and a contagious “Ho, Ho, Ho”. I have a full, naturally white Santa Claus beard, full belly. and loving heart. I have been through 3 Santa Schools. My goal is to bring smiles and joy to children and get theirs in return. To keep them believing in me and the great joy I bring. To help keep them off the “naughty” list and to stay on the “nice” list in hopes of fulfilling their dreams under the tree on Christmas morning and every day thereafter. I can say “Merry Christmas” in about 30 languages of the world. Most of our special visit are for specials needs children and adults who come to our set for photos and have developed a special relationship with their Santa Claus. These visits can even be on Christmas Eve.

It takes a Santa to know a Santa.” This old man was Santa Norm. Meeting Santa Norm changed my life. Santa Norm became my mentor and I have totally embraced the Santa lifestyle. I am a member of both The International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas (IBRBS) and the NORPAC Santas. I have attended Santa School and have taken the Santa oath. Santa Wm Lee, or Santa Bill… was born in the far northeast, raised on the Jersey shore, later moved to the California coast, completed 20 years in the Army, and has called Washington his home since 1983. I have been portraying Santa Claus for my employer, family, and neighbors since 2012. I pride myself in portraying the old fashion long coated Santa with lots of joys bells and ring-a-jingling. One highlight that makes me a fun choice for your family events… I am a jolly Santa kid deep down inside.
